Art

1. Knowledge 

a) Create colour coded flashcards for different areas of art and design practice (materials, processes and techniques). Write art specific words and phrases with examples of how you might use this in a piece of art. Test yourself and get others to test you. Annotate your words with themes and context; where have you used them in your work?

2. Topic Practice

a) Use your personalised target sheets (blank here) to help develop the Exploration and understanding of the theme . Practice mind-mapping to fully explore an idea develop a ‘starting point’ concept from here. 
b) Look at the mark scheme and understand your Assessment Objectives to see the suggestions of what you could have developed in more detail. Look at marked student responses. Highlight the different skills shown to help understand how you earned your marks.

3.  Exam Practice

a) Look at past exam paper themes and mindmaphow you would create a response to that theme. 
b) Use bitesize to revise specific topics, concepts and creative processes. You can see other student work, learn about other artists and familiarise yourself with those all-important assessment objectives.
