Drama
1. Knowledge
a) Use the Drama Knowledge Organisers to help you understand the meaning of key words that you can then use in your written exam based on the play text. Consider making these into double sided flashcards or using online tools.
b) Create detailed mind maps showing the different vocal skills and performance skills actors can use to showcase different emotions. Secondly create mindmaps on the following with examples from the text where possible: Set design, props, costume, lighting, sound.
2. Topic Practice (Rehersals)
Component 1: Talk to your group and book the Drama Studio for additional rehearsals. Consider filming the performance so you can watch it back to work out where you can improve.
Component 2: Whether you have monologue, duologue or a group scene, use the Drama studio to rehearse. Rehearse with props and costume to extend the character creation.
3. Exam Practice
a) Test your knowledge by practising past papers. Use the mark schemes provided to check and improve your answers.
